To visit Nature Park Papuk you have several options of transport
and several specific entrances into the Park.
Visitors from abroad usually arrive from direction of Slovenia
or Hungary. Visitors from Western Europe or outside Europe
most commonly arrive first at Zagreb, whether by plane, train,
bus or by car. From Hungary it is possible to arrive over
several border crossings to Koprivnica, Virovitica, Donji
Miholjac or Osijek.
From Zagreb it is possible to reach Nature Park by car or
train. The fastest way by car is taking the highway Ivanja
Reka-Lipovac taking the exit Nova Gradiška, driving through
Požega, from where you take the road to Velika – main entrance
to the Nature Park. Train from Zagreb also makes it possible
to reach Velika with change of trains in Nova Kapela. If you
are coming from the direction Vinkovci you can also take the
train with change of trains in Nova Kapela, or by car, taking
the highway Lipovac- Ivanja Reka, and taking off at the exit
Lužani, than over Pleternica to Velika.
On the northern side of Park there are two the most significant
entrances: Voćin and Orahovica. If you are coming from direction
of Koprivnica by car, you should go by so cold Podravska freeway
to place Slatina, where you turn in the direction of Voćin.
If you continue by freeway to Orahovica, there is another
entrance to Nature Park. A railway also exists by which you
might reach Slatina or Čačinci, and than go further to the
Park. If visitors arrive from the direction of Osijek, whether
by car or train the first entrance to the Park is Orahovica
or Slatinski Drenovac.
