Regardless which time of the year, activities for active vacation in the Park of Nature are numerous. Swimming pools in Velika and lake 'Orahovica' are exceptional places for refreshment during summer times.

In Velika, in the romantic area surrounded by forest mountain ridges, nearby the stream Dubočanka, there is a spa. Three swimming pools, of which one Olympic dimension, have the water from spa. The temperature of water is 26 to 27 C, in water-spring. During summer months, the swimming pools offer ideal conditions for relaxing and recreation. Besides swimming pools, there are two sand courts for volleyball, and above the swimming pools, where cold and clear stream Dubočanka runs through the alder shadows, there are many greed meadows, places for alternative recreation and fun.

Lake 'Orahovica' is situated in the valley Ribnjak, above the Ružica Town. It was built in 1962, when the water gate was put in place. The lake is oval and occupies 2 hectares of land. The access to the lake is paths surrounded with meadows. All of this enables numerous sport and recreational activities: swimming, jumping into water from the improvised jumping place, playing football, badminton, frisbee, or lovely walk towards the Ružica Town.

In winters, when Papuk is covered with snow, the most beautiful recreation is skiing and sleighing. Every Slavonian skier knows about the ski paths Zvečevo, Jankovac and Nevoljaš. The most famous is the path on Nevoljaš, where there is a cable railway, which is in need for reconstruction to be functional. At he top of this pathway there is a mountaineering rescue service home, where skiers can rest and warm up.

Recently, very popular is mountain bike ride. Spending time in natural environment and fresh air will for sure attract people who enjoy adventures. Bike riding through numerous forests paths of Papuk, is a perfect way of recreation, and getting familiar with beauties of Park. Currently, one needs to have its own bike, since there is no possibility to rent a bike, yet.

Besides the hiking, which is suitable for anyone, the ones who are brave and daring can experience, for now the only one, climbing trail in Park of Nature. The trail is for free climbing nearby Velika. The rock is of a high firmness. The rock is over 50 m, but the height is separated into several 'shelves'. The sport climbing directions are on the southeast part of the rock, which is about 15 m high, and difficulty levels are 4b to 5c.

For the altitude lovers there is a possibility of flying with the small light aircrafts. To experience the Papuk from the air, as the hawk sees it, is an indescribable satisfaction. To see lakes in Orahovica and Zvečevo, as well as Middle-aged towns in Papuk, is a challenge to any adventurous person.
