EDUCATIONAL CENTRE VELIKA, EDUCATIONAL TRAIL LAPJAK

Tour plan: Visit to Papuk Nature Park starts in educational centre in Velika, where visitors learn about interests of protected area through short multimedia presentation and exhibition. Souvenirs and gift shop is located inside of the educational centre, where visitors can buy interesting souvenirs and get promotion materials and brochures.

Short bus drive will take us to first educational trail in Slavonia – trail Lapjak. The trail was built according to educational trails in American National Parks. This trail, that partially follows mountaineer´s path known as ˝Šulerov put˝, includes all the most important features of Papuk Nature Park. Through nine educational panels placed next to the trail, and with expert guides our visitors have a chance to get acquainted with relief, hydrology, vegetation, flora and fauna, geology and history of this area.
Educational trail ends in front of the thermal swimming pools in Velika, where you can find refreshment in summer months.
